Road Warrior Workouts: Fitness For Life on the Road

Top-Quartile performance refers to more than just organizational outcomes. It is a personal way of life. Sadly, those who invest so much bringing out the best in others often neglect their own well-being. Extended travel, poor nutrition, lack of routine, long hours and stressful situations all combine to undermine healthy habits.

George Henderson of the Top-Quartile Performance Institute introduces a fitness program for traveling professionals. The eight-week program includes 12 upper body workouts, 12 lower body workouts, and 12 sports-specific workouts that can be completed in a hotel room. It is designed to help Road Warriors regain, establish or build on a base of fitness, despite a lifestyle that can undermine their health.

The Fit for Life Series is designed to help traveling executives keep (or get) fit while on the road. It is specifically designed to help overworked professionals:

  • Build, rebuild or maintain a base of fitness in 20-30 minutes a day, 4-6 days per week
  • Stay active when facilities are limited to a hotel room or small workout space
  • Reinforce or cross-train for other activities
